Gabe brings more than 25 years of banking experience to his role as MainStreet Bank's Senior Vice President and Director of Community Development. He is passionate about MainStreet Bank's ability to help build and sustain vibrant communities, and he approaches his role with the knowledge and creativity to devise financing solutions to meet clients' unique needs.

Since the creation of MainStreet Community Capital, Gabe has been a driving force in its expansion. Throughout a banking career exceeding 25 years, Gabe has supported clients by providing access to essential goods and services in housing, healthcare, education, childcare, hospitality, and green energy. He takes pride in being a diligent, responsive, and solutions-focused professional who helps ensure MainStreet Bank meets its commitment to positively impact underserved communities.

Jeff Dick co-founded MainStreet Bank in 2003, and serves as CEO and Chairman of both the bank and its parent company, MainStreet Bancshares Inc. He began his career as an examiner with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, and went on to be an advisor on risk-based banking supervision for the Bank of England (UK Central Bank) and the Financial Services Authority. Upon returning to the U.S. in 1999, he was executive vice president and a director of a D.C.-area community bank.

Tom Chmelik is Chief Financial Officer and co-founder of MainStreet Bank and MainStreet Bancshares. He oversees the financial and risk management team. With respect to MainStreet Community Capital, he is highly engaged in identifying and vetting prospective New Markets Tax Credit transactions. His background includes CFO roles in community banks as well as serving as CFO of Tanzania's National Bank of Commerce during its restructuring as part of a World Bank initiative.

She leads a team that serves more than 2,000 low-income clients annually. Maria José is a certified public accountant with more than 20 years of wide-ranging business experience.

Kandi oversees the acquisitions and project management Team of NTCIC with a focus on Historic Tax Credit and New Markets Tax Credit investments, which encompasses finding, underwriting, closing, and initiating the first equity and loan disbursements to a project. She also originates and manages NTCIC's upper-tier investor relationships.

King joined VOA in 2018 after 20 years of leadership experience in the affordable housing industry, including chief development officer of the District of Columbia Housing Authority.

She has structured, underwritten, closed and/or unwound over $850 million in allocations and has assessed risk associated with tax-exempt debt investments exceeding $600 million in 501(c)(3) special purpose entity-owned, publicly sponsored real estate projects.
